Silicon Carbide (SiC) Efficiency

SiC power electronics deliver the highest efficiency across the load curve, reaching up to 98.6% system efficiency in VFI online mode and up to 99% in ECO mode. Measured against a 97%-efficient UPS over eight years of operating life, this translates into 27% lower energy consumption, a 31% smaller carbon footprint and a 2.5-year return on investment.

Modular Scalability

The hot-swappable 100 kW power module architecture lets capacity grow in 100 kW steps, reaching 1.2 MW inside a single 2.8 m² cabinet with 12 modules, and 4.8 MW by paralleling up to 4 systems. Horizontal and vertical scalability allow data centres to right-size protection on day one and expand later without downtime.

No Single Point of Failure

Independent, autonomous, self-configuring power modules and a hot-swappable static bypass - built from 6 compact modules - create a genuinely hot-swappable system with zero downtime during module replacement. Logic control is distributed across the modules, removing any single point of failure in both the power and bypass stages.

Robust Internal Busbar Design

An innovative internal busbar design with smart bar connectors keeps the module count low while delivering reliable power distribution. Robust busbars, plugs and power electronics hold up under intense short-circuit conditions, with high fault clearance capability of 3× In on the inverter and 20× In on the bypass.

MTTR Under 5 Minutes

Every operational and service task is performed from the front, so no rear or lateral clearance is required and the cabinet can be installed against a wall. Maintainable design delivers a mean time to repair of under 5 minutes without interrupting UPS operation.

Predictive Diagnostics

An integrated monitoring system continuously assesses the condition of consumable components in real time, enabling maintenance plans built around actual component life rather than fixed schedules. Unnecessary part replacements fall, operating costs drop and uptime rises.

10" HMI Touch Screen and Status Bar

The 10" touch screen offers an intuitive interface with full measurements and parameters, from the whole system down to individual modules, alongside historical alarm and message logs and the latest predictive diagnostics. System parameters can be configured to match specific load and application requirements. A distinctive multi-coloured LED status bar uses traffic-light coding to signal operating status at a glance.

Li-Ion Compatibility

Compatible with VRLA and high-performance Li-Ion batteries using LFP and NCM technology, across a 420–680 Vdc battery voltage range with a 20 kW charger per power module. Li-Ion delivers backup energy in a compact footprint, with long operating life and complete system supervision.

Adaptable to Your Electrical Infrastructure

A wide set of configuration options lets Keor FLEX fit existing switchgear and site design: top or bottom cable entry or busbar connection, TNC or TNS grounding, with or without distributed neutral, Icw limitation up to 100 kA, embedded backfeed protection, integration with upstream panel protection and switches, and optional trapped-key interlock for error-proof operation on switches and manual bypass.

Smart Grid Ready

Keor FLEX operates as a distributed energy resource, supporting grid import-export, peak shaving to limit peak power drawn from the grid, fast grid frequency stabilising, and integration with building management systems - enabling intelligent, sustainable energy use.

Eco-Friendly Design

Keor FLEX was designed to reduce environmental footprint by prioritising the circular economy: less material used, greater reuse of materials and higher system efficiency. An Environmental Product Declaration (PEP) is published for the product.
